All our colleague training is accredited by City & Guilds, on completion of our 12-week colleague training programme. We also offer retail apprenticeships.
There’s one purpose behind our graduate schemes: to fast track and develop our future leaders. There’s no limit to how far you can go at ASDA. We hire for attitude and train for skill. So you can expect to learn at pace, developing your leadership skills through ongoing behavioural and technical development. These have been designed to enable you to reach a senior role within five years.

We offer summer internships in our Finance department as well as 1-year industrial placements for many Head Office functions.
We offer work experience through our ‘adopt a school’ scheme for one or two weeks. This provides you with valuable 'life skills' just when you need them and a real taste of the world of work that lies ahead.
Every year, ASDA offers around 15,000 placements of one or two weeks to young people to give them the opportunity to experience working in retail under its ‘Flying the Flag’ programme.
