School leavers can apply for a variety of work placement and apprenticeship opportunities as detailed below.
GE offers 4 year apprenticeship programmes in the following: Craft, Technician, Commercial and Speciality apprenticeships.
Candidate criteria: Standard grades (credit level) / highers (minimum C) in English, Maths, Physics, Craft, Design Technology or similar • Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment • Involved in other social clubs/activities.

Our Leadership Programmes centre on a comprehensive rotation policy, which allows graduates to gain hands-on experience and training across a wide range of challenging projects and areas within the business. GE offers Leadership Programmes in the following: Commercial Leadership, Edison Engineering Development, Finance Management, Human Resources Leadership, Operations Management Leadership and GE Capital Risk Management Programmes.
Candidate criteria: Minimum of a 2:1 degree, discipline related • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills • Relevant work experience.
