When Center Parcs set up there, the company recognised the need to take account of the concerns of any person or group who might be affected by the project. Organisations have a prime responsibility to serve these stakeholders. Primary stakeholders are those with a formal, official or contractual relationship such as shareholders, employees, suppliers and customers. Secondary stakeholders include the local community, consumer organisations as well as the general public.
