Raffaele Riva has a lot of experience with startup firms, thanks to his track record of launching several startups between 1997 and 2008. Prior to that, he worked with large multinational corporations negotiating deals in locations around the world, and is a licensed, seasoned Accounting and Auditing Specialist in both the UK and Italy.

Riva completed undergraduate and graduate degrees at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, specializing in the areas of accounting, corporate financing, tax law, and mergers and acquisitions. Having earned his Dottore Commercialista, he became qualified to work as a Certified Public Accountant in Italy. He later continued to pursue further education, completing two post-graduate programs, one at the Canton Ticino Management Business School in SSQUEA, and a second at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerlandin in SUPSI.

As an entrepreneur and investor, Riva is led by his passion and enthusiasm for the companies that he invests in and the entrepreneurs that he mentors.  He remains open and willing to be inspired by visionary and innovative ideas as well as brilliant individuals who present new opportunities for advancement.  Riva calls his appetite for knowledge “insatiable,” and spends his free time gather information on current world events as well as the latest developments in technology and business around the world.
