Xiaomi launched their first ever Redmi Note series smartphone back in March of 2014, looking to target the price-sensitive budget smartphone market. The aim of this to target a very open market but with a lot of opportunity.
This has turned out to be a major success and Xiaomi’s popular Redmi product has now crossed the 100 million shipment mark for this smartphone series. This is a remarkable achievement in just a few years, with the news recently released by the Chinese manufacturer. This figure of over 100 million globally spanning from the launch back in 2014. This was confirmed online by Xiaomi’s Indian based managing director Manu Kuman about the stunning achievement. He wrote “Mi fans, happy to share: we have crossed #100Million mark for our #Redmi Note series globally!”
The company has also now released the new Redmi series products recently and are all gathering huge interest. This was shown in searches in the Indian region most recently, with the product topping the daily interest charts ahead of the likes of the hugely popular Samsung, Huawei and Apple products. This including the likes of the Samsung Galaxy A50, the Huawei Mate 10 and the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max. This is yet another indication of just how popular the Xiaomi products are around the world.

Moving back to the news of the recent Redmi Note milestone. The main aim back then was targeting the budget smartphone market, whilst also offering a competitive product that can match these top spec products. This resulted in great success and even more so in the Indian and Chinese markets. The same is now expected to happen with the new Redmi products which have hit both markets most recently. These also allow people to download a whole host of apps in addition such as sports, in which many use the betting bonus codes for UK that are on offer when doing so.
One of these recent releases from Xiaomi is the Redmi Note 8 pro, which features a 4,500mAh battery and a 20-megapixel front sensor. There are three variations of the phone available, which are the 6GB + 64GB, the 6GB + 128GB and the 8GB + 128 GB.
